Hospital-acquired (nosocomial) infections are a major financial issue in the world. An active infection control program of patients and personnel and hygiene measures, have proven to significantly reduce both the number of infections and hospitalization costs. This is also true for wound care and wound preservation for cases in which the hospitalization time is prolonged especially for old patients. The projects aims at designing and developing the innovative manufacture process for antimicrobial multi-layered textile structures dedicated to hospital applications. Manufacture the textile materials with properties against house dust mite etc. |
