Guide for courses evaluation and upgrading
Although the project main actors, tutors and learners, have reached the envisaged work targets, and the global experience within this group has been positively evaluated, there is always a need of analysing and improving, if necessary. In this context, the Guide for courses evaluation and upgrading, synthesize the relevant aspects and conclusions drawn after each partner evaluation.
4. Analysis of the information provided by the partner institutions
4.1. The schedule of the face-to-face courses and of the e-learning courses
The training activities were organized as blended courses, carried on in two successive stages:
- 1 week of face-to-face courses,
- 7 weeks of online courses on the developed e-learning platform, one learning module on each week;
The full program of the training activities, in face-to-face course and e-learning course, for all partners in the consortium is shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1. The program of the training activities: face-to-face courses ( green) , e-learning courses ( red) |
The face-to-face courses were organised before the training on the e-learning platform and they envisaged mainly following objectives:
- Presenting the content of each course module by the tutors involved in teaching the courses,
- Presenting the schedule of the online courses,
- Presenting the e-learning platform (www.adva2tex.eu), how to access the platform, the working instruments and the interactivity of the platform,
- Presenting the weekly evaluation system, after completion of each module.
This way of organising the blended courses has been done by all partners except Uni Minho. This partner chose an different way of working: they alternated the face to face courses with the courses on e-learning platform.
