9. Suggestions of improvement of the course
Below is a compilation of the suggestions received from the tutors:
- There should exist the possibility of the student to have an option between studying the all modules or just one/few, according to his interest or specialization.
- Re-order the lectures/modules (see section 6).
- The basic knowledge of the courses was supported and completed by practical aspects and case studies. It could be concluded that the interest of the trainees for the knowledge was stimulated by this approach. Thus, the approach will be continued.
- More graphic elements (video, movies, pictures, sketches) to be included in the modules content, to create a higher attractiveness to the courses.
- Detailed information on the knowledge level, interests and expectations for all of the participants which would enable more focused preparation of the course adopted to the expectations of the participants.
- Division of the trainees into two more homogeneous groups, considering their pre-knowledge related to the topics of the modules (in case of enough interest).
- On-line access and computers for all the participants.
- To include more practical examples and to organize visiting testing laboratory or real-production environment departments, after the lectures with the aim to discuss the differences/similarities between the theory and practice.
- The courses would offer more benefits if they would be split on both theoretical and practical part.
- Mobilities between groups of trainees from different countries would be a plus.
- Granting some funds for blended courses is recommended.
To update continuously the topics (in shorter version) by identifying new technologies, innovative solutions of traditional technologies, concrete examples of manufacturing and to introduce on the platform related animations and videos. The research providers of the consortium will have the possibility to include on the platform research results from new projects, as well as case studies and best practices from the collaboration with companies in the textile and clothing field.
