1) Please provide the most interesting example of technical / smart textiles that you have.
The company produces technical fabrics with different destinations and characteristics, depending on the requirements of its customers. From the category of composite materials with textile support, used for obtaining electric energy through solar exposure, we produce fabrics from PES100%, PA100% yarns, printed directly with electric circuits, on textile support, for applications in different fields (.sport, army, products for general use) and various applications: tents, leather backpacks, and sleeping bags.
2) How did you promote or put your product on the market?
The smart products market is in rapid and continuous development, which requires a good knowledge of the consumers (beneficiaries) to promote our products. We participate in exhibitions and fairs in the field, we collaborate with research institutes and universities for the purpose of technological transfer. We run research projects with national identities and in partnership with international partners.
3) What requirements do you customers most request? (EC Certifications, washing etc.)
Depending on the requirements of the customers and according to the destination of the fabrics we produce, we produce fabrics with widths, with structural bonds, with different specific masses. The most often required by the beneficiary are: impermeability to water, resistance to repeated washing, flame retardant, and antibacterial, ant allergic treatments.
4) Do you agree in sharing some of these experiences for educational purposes?
Our products are considered as semi-finished for the beneficiaries, in order to increase the knowledge of the specifics of our products, we agree to share some of these experiences related to textile products
